Celebrate, Sustain Restoration

With thanksgiving we celebrate this year of restoration, for the Lord’s goodness

Pastors Heart

We shall blow the trumpet calling both priest and the Christian to consecrate themselves to the Lord. All of us are called to rededicate our whole lives to Christ. “Gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her chamber.” (Joel 2:16) A focus on repentance, prayer, fasting, with daily corporate fellowship. A also encourage each believer to cultivate and sustain the spiritual disciplines of Bible study and daily personal devotion to the Lord. This shall be consistently emphasized to the congregation by the leaders.

Thursdays & Fridays of every week we join in prayer.

Nurturing the Kingdom attitudes, lifestyles and behavior that lay foundations for victorious Christian life and present a conducive platform for the Lord to restore our wasted years will be our focus

As we delve into this subtheme, we shall focus on pointing ourselves to the restoration God wants to do in our midst. As we all yield and commit ourselves at an individual level, God will start working in our lives. We shall also take the same message to the unbeliever so they can experience the forgiveness of Christ.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. (2Chronicles 7:14-16)

National Anthem

Oh Uganda! may God uphold thee,
We lay our future in thy hand.
United, free,
For liberty
Together we’ll always stand.

Oh Uganda! the land of freedom.
Our love and labour we give,
And with neighbours all
At our country’s call
In peace and friendship we’ll live.

Oh Uganda! the land that feeds us
By sun and fertile soil grown.
For our own dear land,
We’ll always stand:
The Pearl of Africa’s Crown.

General Prayer

Hostility & Crime

Pray that the politics of Uganda as we approach the next electioneering season, will be peaceful no blood shed will pollute this land to bring a curse upon our land. This land belongs to the Lord.

Locust Invasion

Joel 2:25  (KJV)

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
