“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. (2 Chronicles 7:14-16)
Knowledge is power
There is power in knowledge, The power of God working in us is activated by us knowing His word activating this word through faith. Many people do know the word but it doesn't help much to know and not act upon it. Faith and obedience are key ingredients that will activate Gods power that is in His written word. Hebrews 4:12 tells us this word is alive and powerful.
Learning Humility from Jesus tales
The Greatest in the Kingdom
(Mark 9:33-37; Luke 9:46-50) In these examples, we see Jesus very emphatic about living simple and humble lives like children. 1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 Jesus invited a little child to stand among them. 3“Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me. 6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
